Recipe for Khyber Dum Mutton
Ingredients
- Mutton meat 700 gm
- Fat 250 gm
- Onion 2
- Chopped garlic 2 tbsp
- Black pepper 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder 1 tbsp
- Cinnamon 4-5 sticks
- Butter 1/2 cup
- Potato 1/2 kg
- Flour 400 gm
- Oil 4-5 tbsp
- Salt to taste
Cooking Directions
Put mutton, onion, garlic, black pepper, turmeric, cinnamon and salt in pot and roast for 5-7 minutes.
Spread butter in second pot, cut potato into thick thick slices and spread it.
Then put fat, meat mixture and water as required, close pot lid with kneaded flour from four sides, give shape of steam and cook until meat tender nicely.
In end, dish out it and serve.
