Recipe for Achar Gosht
Ingredients
- Mutton ½ kg
- Tomatoes 5
- Garlic8 cloves
- Chopped ginger 2 tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Whole red chilies 8
- Yogurt as required
- Fennel seeds 1 tsp
- Coriander seeds 1 tbsp
- Turmeric 1 tsp
- Nigella seeds 1 tsp
- Cooking oil 1 cup
- Dry mango powder 5
- Green chilies 4
- To fill the chilies:
- Mustard seeds 2 tbsp
- Fennel seeds 1 tsp
- Cumin seeds 1 tsp
- Coriander seeds 1 tbsp
Cooking Directions
Take 1 cup oil in the pan, add in 3 chopped onions and fry till they are golden brown.Add in ½ kg mutton, some salt and 1 tsp turmeric.
When the water dries, add in yogurt, 1 tsp fennel seeds, 1 tbsp coriander, soaked raw mango, 8 whole red chilies, 8 chopped garlic cloves, 2 tbsp chopped ginger and cook it.
