Recipe for Grilled Glazed Tuna Steaks
Ingredients
- dry sherry 1/3 cup
- minced gingerroot 1 tablespoon
- low sodium soy sauce 1 tablespoon
- honey 1 teaspoon
- 1 minced centiliter garlic
- 1 lb tuna steaks cut into 4
Cooking Directions
First combine sherry, gingerroot, soy sauce, honey & garlic in 1 cup or glass measures.
Put uncovered in Microwave oven at high temperature for about 1 Min. Or until mixture boils.
After that cool it slightly.
Now place tuna in an 11 X 7 X 1 ½ in a baking dish.
Over tuna pour marinade.
Cover it & Chill for about 2 Hours.
After that remove tuna from marinade and reserve marinade to preheat a 10 Inch.
Arrange browning skillet At High temperature for 8 Minutes.
Put tuna on hot browning skillet with thickest portions to the outside.
Microwave it with uncovered tuna At High temperature For 2 Minutes more.
Now turn steaks over & baste with marinade and put again in microwave at high temperature for 1 ½ To 2 Minutes more.
Let Stand Covered 2 Min.
At last serve immediately with warm marinade.
