Recipe for Mutton Paya – Chotey Paye
Ingredients
- Mutton paye 4
- Onion 2 sliced
- Ginger garlic 2 tbsp
- Chili powder 1 tbsp
- Turmeric ½ tsp
- Salt 2 tsp leveled
- Coriander powder 3 tsp
- Ghee 1 cup
- Allspice 1 tsp
- Ginger sliced 2 tbsp
- Coriander leaves chopped 2 tbsp
- Green chilies chopped 4
- Lemon to serve
- Yogurt 1 cup
Cooking Directions
Boil paye with sliced onion, ginger garlic paste, chili powder, turmeric, salt, coriander powder and 8 cups of water on slow fire.
Covered till paye are tender, in another pan heat oil.
Add yogurt with paye, fry well add remaining stock let it cook on slow flame.
Lastly add allspice, ginger slice, chopped hara masala, serve with lemon.
