Recipe for Achari Korma
Ingredients
- Boneless beef ½ kg
- Water 3 cups
- Red chili whole 8
- Oil ½ cup
- Golden fried onions ½ cup (crushed)
- Yogurt ½ cup
- Chili powder 1 tsp
- Salt 1 tsp
- Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
- Cumin seeds ½ tsp
- Onion seeds ½ tsp
- Mustard seeds ½ tsp
- Turmeric ¼ tsp
- Jaggery 2 tbsp
- Lemon juice 2 tbsp
Cooking Directions
Cook beef with salt, turmeric and water till meat is tender and stock is left.
Heat oil and add red whole chilies and mustard seeds, sauté for 1 minute.
Add cooked beef with chili powder, cumin seeds, fried onion, onion seeds, ginger garlic paste and jaggery.
Cook well. Add the reserved stock, lemon juice and yogurt, cover and cook for 10 minutes.
Remove lid, increase flame and cook well till oil comes on top.
