Recipe for Shahi Mutton Korma
Ingredients
- Mutton 1 kg/ Bakre ka gosht
- Yogurt 250 grams/ dahi
- Almonds 20 grams/ badaam
- Pistachios 20 grams/ pista
- Cream 100 grams/ balaie
- Hot spices powder 1 tbsp/ garam masalah powder
- Turmeric powder 1 tbsp
- Mace and nutmeg powder ½ tsp/ pisi huwi jaifal javitri
- Red chilli powder 2 tbsp/ surkh mirch powder
- Ginger/garlic paste 2 tbsp/ adrak lehsan
- Coriander leaves (chopped) ¼ bunch/ hara dhaniya (chop kia huwa)
- Mint leaves (chopped) ¼ bunch/ podeene ke paty
- Salt to taste/ hasbe zaiqa namak
- Oil ¼ cup/ 1/4cup tail
- Coriander leaves and ginger (finely) for garnishing./ umdagi sy kate huwe hara dhaniya aur adrak sajawat ke liye.
Cooking Directions
Heat oil in a pot. Fry garlic/ginger till golden. Add meat till it changes co lour and cook.
Add coriander, mint, hot spices, turmeric, mace and nutmeg, red chillies, salt and yogurt with one cup water.Cover with lid and cook
Boil almonds and pistachios. Peel and finely cut.
When meat is tender, fry.
Add cream, almonds and pistachios and fry until water dries.
Garnish with coriander and ginger and serve.
