Recipe for Keema Matar
Ingredients
- Minced meat 1 kg
- Shelled peas 3/4 kg
- Curd (well beaten) 1, 1/2 cup
- Green cardamoms 4
- Bay leaves 3
- Peppercorns 10
- Cloves 5
- Cinnamon sticks(crushed finely) 2"
- Ghee
- Salt to taste
- Grind Together:
- Onion 400 gm
- Ginger 1" piece
- Red chillies 2
- Turmeric powder 1 tsp
- Coriander powder 1 tsp
Cooking Directions
Heat 4 tbsp of ghee and fry the ground spices till golden brown in color.
Then add the minced meat and salt to taste.
Cover and cook, stirring occasionally so that the meat turns golden brown in color.
Keep adding a little water till the meat is properly cooked.
Add the peas, cover once again.
When peas are tender, add well beaten curd and crushed all spice.
Cook for another 10 minutes.
Garnish with chopped coriander and serve hot with chapatti.
