Recipe for Mutter Masala
Ingredients
- 2 cups peas
- 1 medium potato
- 1 medium onion
- 1 medium tomato
- 2 boiled eggs
- 3-4 sliced green chilies
- ¼ cup oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- ½ tsp turmeric
- 2 tsp garlic paste
- 2 tsp tara garam masala
- 2 tbsp chopped coriander
Cooking Directions
In a pan, heat ¼ cup oil and add 1 medium chopped onion, 1 medium chopped tomato and 2 tsp garlic paste and cook until tomatoes and onions are soft.
Then add 2 cup peas, 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp red chilli powder, ½ tsp turmeric and 2 tsp tara garam masala in it and cook until peas are semi cooked.
Add in 1 medium chopped potato and ¼ cup water and cook on low flame until potatoes are tender.
When potatoes are tender and oil forms a layer on top and a bit of gravy is left, add 3-4 chopped green chillies and 2 tbsp chopped coriander in it and let simmer for two more minutes.
Lastly, dish out and garnish with 2 boiled eggs and serve.
