Recipe for Doodhi Ka Halwa
Ingredients
- 2 kg Bottle gourd
- 1/2 kg Khoya
- 1 cup Dry milk powder
- 6 Cardamom
- 50 gm Desiccated coconut
- 100 gm Almond & pistachio ground
- 250 gm Sugar
- 250 gm Ghee
- 1/2 tsp Green food color
Cooking Directions
Heat 250 ghee in a pan, add 6 cardamoms and fry well, now add 2 kg boiled bottle gourd, fry well.
Dissolve 1 cup dry milk powder in some water.
Now in bottle gourd mixture add 250 gm sugar.
Then add milk with 1/2 tsp green food color and 50 gm desiccated coconut.
Lastly add 1/2 kg Khoya, 100 gm ground almond and pistachio.
