Recipe for Rusbharay
Ingredients
- Noodles boiled ½ packet
- Milk 1/2 litre
- Corn flour ¼ cup
- Sugar 125 gm
- Mix fruit chopped 1 tin
- Red jelly 1 packet
- Green jelly 1 packet
- Almond chopped 25 gm
- Pistachio chopped 25 gm
- Fig chopped 50 gm
- Dry dates chopped 50 gm
- Raisin 50 gm
- Fresh cream 200 ml
Cooking Directions
In a pan put ½ litre of milk, cook till it comes to a boil, add ¼ cup corn flour paste and cook till thickens.
Stir continuously and cool completely.
Now add 125 gm sugar and mix well.
Add ½ packet of boiled noodles, 25 gm chopped almond, 25 gm chopped pistachios, 50 gm chopped dates, 50 gm raisin, 50 gm chopped fig, 1 tin of fruit cocktail and 200 ml fresh cream.
Mix well, lastly add jelly cubes and put in refrigerator. Serve chilled.
