Recipe for Badam Phirni

Ingredients

  • 12 nos. almonds
  • 4 tablespoon rice flour
  • 21/2 cups milk
  • 5 tablespoon sugar
  • 8 strands saffron
  • 1 tablespoon cardamom powder

Cooking Directions

Blanch and grind the almonds with ½ cup milk to make fine paste. Mix ground almond paste with rice flour, keep the mixture aside.

Boiled milk. Add sugar with it and stir till sugar gets dissolve. Take a tablespoon of hot milk and soaked saffron threads in it.

Pour almond-rice paste into boiled milk along with the saffron.

Stir continuously for a few minutes’ tills the milk gets thicker like yogurt.

Sprinkle cardamom powder on it and take off it from
Now keep it to cool in the room temperature.

Pour it in an individual bowl. Garnish it with almond and pistachios. Now keep it for refrigeration.
