Recipe for Bread Ka Halwa
Ingredients
- Bread slices 8
- Khoya 250 gm
- Castor sugar1 cup
- Desiccated coconut 1 cup
- Ghee 1 cup
- Almond & pistachio 100 gm
- Kewra water 1 tbsp
- Cardamom powder ½ tsp
- Edible beaten Silver as required
Cooking Directions
Crush 8 bread slices and fry in 1 cup ghee till its color turn to golden brown.
Now add 1 cup sugar, 1 cup desiccated coconut and ½ tsp cardamom powder.
Cook for 1 minute. Now add 250 gm khoya , also add 1 tbsp kevra water and turn the flame off.
Take out in serving dish, spread 100 gm chopped almond and pistachio.
Garnish with edible beaten silver and serve.
