Recipe for Crispy Karela
Ingredients
- Bitter gourd ½ kg
- Boiled almonds 15
- Red chili flakes 1 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Chaat masala as required
- Lemons 2
- Chopped onion 3
- Oil as required
- To wash Bitter gourd:
- Jaggery 1 tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Turmeric 1 tsp
- Tamarind as required
Cooking Directions
Peel 1/2kg Karela wash then and mix in 1 tbsp jiggery, salt, turmeric and some tamarind.
Keep it for 15-20 minutes. Now wash them.
Take some oil in the pan and deep fry karelas till they are golden brown.
Take them out and dry them on a newspaper.
Add in boiled almonds.
Add in chopped onion, mix it add in salt chaat masala emond juice, almonds and serve.
