Recipe for Thai Pan Fried Fish
Ingredients
- Garlic paste 1 tbsp
- Oil 2 tbsp
- Fish sliced ½ kg
- Coriander leaves ½ bunch
- Basil chopped ¼ bunch
- Lemon skin 1 tsp
- Garlic 3 – 4 cloves
- Fish sauce 1 tbsp
- Lemon juice 1 tbsp
- Chili sauce 1 tbsp
- Fresh red chilies chopped 2
- Salt to taste
- Charcoal as required
Cooking Directions
In chopper put together ½ bunch of coriander leaves, ¼ bunch of basil leaves, 1 tsp lemon skin, 3 – 4 cloves of garlic, 1 tbsp fish sauce, 1 tbsp lemon juice, 1 tbsp chili sauce and 2 tbsp oil. Chopper finely.
Remove mixture in a bowl.
Marinate ½ kg fish slices with 2 chopped fresh red chilies, 1 tbsp garlic paste, salt to taste and lemon juice.
Also add in choppered mixture and mix very well.
Now Bar BQ fish pieces or shallow fry till golden brown.
Remove in a serving dish and serve hot with chutney.
