Recipe for Fish Korma
Ingredients
- 1kg Fish (medium size of fish suitable)
- Yogurt 1/2 cup
- Onion 1 cup chopped
- Ginger Paste 2 tsp.
- Garlic Paste 1 tsp.
- cilantro Minced fine 2 tbsp.
- cardamom 2 green
- cinnamon 1? piece,
- Salt as per taste
- cooking oil 3/4 cup
- 1 tsp chilli powder
- 2 Green chilies, thinly sliced
- Sugar 1 tbsp
- Lemon 2 tbsp
Cooking Directions
Heat oil in a pan or wok and fry Onion till brown.
Mix all other ingredients except sugar and lemon juice and heat through.
Keep together fish and heat covered in low heat.
Turn over the fish once (be careful).
When the water has almost dried up,mix sugar and lime/lemon juice.
When the Cooking Oil begins to float on top, turn the heat off. Transfer korma into a serving bowl.
Fish Korma is ready to serve. Serve hot with naan or chapati.
