Recipe for Jodhpuri Mutton Curry
Ingredients
- Mutton ½ kg
- All spice powder ½ tsp
- Chili powder 1 tsp
- Oil ¼ cup
- Onion chopped 2
- Bay leaves 2
- Turmeric ½ tsp
- Coriander powder 1 tbsp
- Water 1 – 1 ½ cup
- Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Tomatoes chopped 2
- Green cardamoms 4 – 5
- Coriander leaves ¼ bunch
Cooking Directions
Heat ¼ cup oil in a wok, add in 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste, ½ kg mutton and 2 chopped onion.
Cook on low flame till onion is dissolved.
Then add 1 tsp chili powder, ½ tsp all spice powder, 2 bay leaves, ½ tsp turmeric, 1 tbsp coriander powder, salt to taste, 2 chopped tomatoes and 4 – 5 green cardamoms. Cook for 3 – 4 minutes.
Add a little water and cook for 25 – 30 minutes.
Now remove lid, add in coriander leaves.
Fry well on high flame till oil comes on top.
Then dish it out and serve hot with Naan.
