Recipe for Meat Balls With Lemon Sauce
Ingredients
- Mince ½ kg
- Boiled rice 100 gm
- Onion 1
- Parsley chopped ½ bunch
- Black pepper powder ½ tsp
- Salt to taste
- Butter 2 tbsp
- White pepper ¼ tsp
- Green chilies 3 – 4
- Egg 1
- Water 1 cup
- Lemon juice ¼ cup
- Honey ½ cup
- Oyster sauce 2 tbsp
- Garlic paste 1 tbsp
- Corn flour 2 tbsp
Cooking Directions
In chopper put together ½ kg mince, 100 gm boiled rice, 1 chopped onion, ½ bunch of parsley, 3 – 4 green chilies and 1 egg. Chopperize finely.
Add in ½ tsp black pepper power, ¼ tsp white pepper powder and salt to taste, mix very well.
Remove mixture in a bowl. Make small meat balls with the mixture.
In a wok heat 2 tbsp butter, add in 1 tbsp garlic paste and saute for a few minutes.
Then add ½ cup honey and cook for a few minutes more.
Add ¼ cup lemon juice and 2 tbsp oyster sauce. Cook for 1 – 2 minutes.
Now add 1 cup water and prepared meat balls. Cover and cook on low flame for 10 – 12 minutes.
Thicken sauce with 2 tbsp corn flour paste. Then dish it out, serve hot.
