Recipe for Fish Steak With Mustard Sauce
Ingredients
- Fish fillet ½ kg
- Salt to taste
- Garlic paste 1 tsp
- White pepper powder ½ tsp
- Black pepper powder ½ tsp
- Mustard paste 1 tbsp
- Lemon juice 2 tbsp
- Flour 4 tbsp
- Oil 2 tbsp
- Mustard paste 1 tbsp
- Vinegar 2 tbsp
- Flour 2 tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Chili powder ½ tsp
- Sugar 1 tsp
- Oil 2 tbsp
Cooking Directions
Cut fish into small cubes, marinate with salt to taste, 2 tbsp lemon juice, ½ tsp white pepper, ½ tsp black pepper powder, 1 tbsp mustard paste, ½ tsp garlic paste, 4 tbsp flour and 2 tbsp oil.
Shallow fry the marinated fish with a little oil till golden brown.
In a separate pan heat 2 tbsp oil, add flour and fry well for 1 – 2 minutes.
Now add ½ tsp chili powder and salt to taste. Fry well.
Then add ½ cup of water, cook till sauce thicken, add in mustard paste, 2 tbsp vinegar and 1 tsp sugar.
Put the fried fish in a serving platter, top with mustard sauce and serve hot.
