Recipe for Paneer Chunkies
Ingredients
- Whole cashew- or cashew powder- 1 cup
- Sugar- 1/2 cup
- Milk-1/2 cup
- hot Water- as required
- cardamom powder- 1/2 tbsp (Optional)
- Rose water
Cooking Directions
Take a pan and lit the stove Add 1/2 cup water to it (about 5-6 tbsp or even less )Once water starts boiling you can add sugar to
Keep stirring till you see water getting stickier Make sure water now is 1 string thick atleast
Now to this add Cashew powder (If you have whole cashews blend it and set aside)
And please keep churning it at medium flame.
Once you see it all churned nicely like a dough
Shut down the stove, and once its cool Add cardamom powder to it Knead the dough again by using milk on and often
Make sure your dough is not very soft Then start rolling the entire dough in 1 huge tortia kind shape
Cut in shapes as in pictureIf you have silver foil (the one you can eat) you can stick it on top Serve it once its cool at room temperature!
