Recipe for Vegetable Raita
Ingredients

- Ingredients for Vegetable Raita
- Fresh curd – 400 g (2 cups)
- Capsicum – 1
- Cucumber-1
- Cabbage- Half cup shredded
- Carrot- 1 small shredded
- Roasted Cumin powder – ½ teaspoon
- Red pepper – 1 pinch (if you wish)
- Green chili – 1 (finely chopped) of
- Plain Salt – To taste (½ teaspoon)
- Black Salt – 1/4 teaspoon at
- Green Dnian – 2 table spoon finely chopped
Cooking Directions
Whisk the curd and take it out in a bowl. Now, place the entire capsicum, on a stove and then roast it.Then peel off the skin from it.
Also, take out the seeds from the capsicum and make sure you cut it into small tiny pieces like finely copped ones.
Now chop the remaining vegetables cucumber, cabbage,cilantro in similar fashion
Put chopped capsicum, cucumber, cabbage,cilantro, salt, roasted cumin seeds powder and coriander leaves into the whisked curd. Vegetable Raita is ready.
You can also tamper the cumin seeds into the oil and put it over the curd, instead of using roasted cumin seeds powder.a
