Recipe for PALAK GOSHT
Ingredients
- 500 grams mutton
- 500 grams spinach
- to taste salt
- 2 bay leaves
- 4 green chillies chopped
- 1 tbsp garlic paste
- 2 tsps garam masala
- 6 tbsps oil
- 1 tsp red chilli powder
- 1 tbsp ginger paste
- 1 cup onions sliced
- 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
Cooking Directions
Clean, wash lamb pieces. Boil spinach in salted boiling water for 5minute.
Remove well and grind it along with green chillies to a rough paste.
Heat oil in a thick bottomed pan add bay leaves, whole garam masala and cumin seeds.
After 2mins add onions.Stir fry till onions are translucent.
Add ginger garlic paste, red chilli powder and lamb pieces.Stir fry on high flame heat up stirring constantly.
Then add 3 cup of water and stir fry covered until lamb is almost done.
Now add salt and spinach and stir fry till lamb is fully mixed with spinach and tender.
Serve hot with boiled rice or roti or naan
