Recipe for Dilli Ka Saag Gosht
Ingredients
- Mutton 1/2 kg
- Tomato 1 small
- Tomato chopped 2
- Green chilies 6
- Green chilies whole 8
- Spinach 1/2 kg
- Oil 1/2 cup
- Brown Onion 1/2 cup
- Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
- Salt 1 tbsp
- Chili powder 2 tsp
- Dry fenugreek leaves 2 tsp
- Coriander leaves 2 tbsp
Cooking Directions
Clean spinach and chop finely, wash and blanched.
Blend spinach with green chilies, coriander leaves and tomato, keep aside.
In a pan heat oil, add brown onion with ginger garlic paste and chopped tomatoes.
Add mutton with salt, chili powder and 2 cups water, cover and cook till meat is tender.
Add in blended spinach mixture, whole green chilies and dry fenugreek leaves, fry well for 10 minutes.
Remove and serve hot.
