Recipe for Chunky Sausage and Tomato Past
Ingredients
- Olive oil 1 tbsp
- Take 4 thick pork sausages and cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 crushed garlic cloves
- White wine 200ml medium
- Tomato purée 1 tbsp
- Chopped tomatoes 400g
- Rigatoni or penne 500g pack
- Handful torn basil leaves
- Parmesan to serve
Cooking Directions
First of all heat the olive oil in a heavy based pan and add the sausages in it.
Fry it for approximately 8 minutes until golden and able to be cooked through.
After that tip in the garlic and fry for 1 minute more. Boil it after pouring it in the white wine until it reduced to half.
Now stir in the tomato purée and tomatoes and season to taste. After that simmer for 15 minutes more until the sauce is rich and thick.
After the sauce is cooked read the instructions of boiling according to the pack. If you are using basil stir it and cooked pasta into the sauce and serve it in bowls.
