Recipe for Machli Ka Salan
Ingredients
- 1 KG Fresh fish
- Salt (As Needed)
- 2 Onions
- 2 TBSP Ginger Garlic Paste
- 1 TBSP Fenugreek Seeds
- 1 TBSP Mustard Paste
- ½ TSP Whole Cumin
- 2 Tomatoes
- ½ Cup Yogurt
- 3 Green Chilies
- 1 TBSP Coriander Powder
- 1 TSP Turmeric powder
- 1 & ½ Lemon Juice
- 10 gm Green Coriander
- 1 TSP Red Chili Powder
- ½ Cup Cooking Oil
- 1 TBSP Kasuri Methi
Cooking Directions
In a bowl, add fish, Salt, turmeric, ginger garlic paste, Lemon Juice, mix them all and keep it in the fridge for 30 minutes.
Now Take a pan, add cooking oil and marinated fish in this pan, let it fry until it changes into golden brown.
Add garlic, Fenugreek seeds, Mustard seeds, Cumin Powder, Green chili, onion in a pan, and cook it for 1 Minute.
Now add tomato paste, yogurt and cook it for 2 minutes.
Now add salt, red chili powder, Chopped red chili, coriander powder, cumin powder, turmeric and cook it for 5 Minutes.
Now add kasuri Methi, Fried fish and simmer it for 5 Minutes.
Your tasty Fish Salan is ready to serve.
