Recipe for Chicken And Yogurt Cutlets
Ingredients
- Chicken mince 1/2 kg
- Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
- Green chilies 4
- Onions 1 (finely chopped)
- Fresh coriander 2 tbsp
- Mint leaves 10-15
- Cumin powder 1 tsp
- Black pepper powder 1 tsp
- Red chili flakes 1 tsp
- Fresh bread crumbs 1 cup
- Yogurt 2 tbsp
- Fresh cream 2 tbsp
- Eggs 2
- Salt to taste
- Oil for shallow frying
Cooking Directions
Steam chicken mince on slow flame with salt, ginger garlic paste and 2 green chilies for 10 minutes and dry water of chicken mince completely.
Let it cool for 5 minutes.
In a food processor add chicken mince, 1/2 cup of breadcrumbs, yogurt, cumin, black pepper powder, cream and red chili paste. Run food processor for a minute only.
Now add onion, remaining 2 green chilies, fresh coriander and mint leaves and mix thoroughly.
Spread remaining 1/2 cup of fresh bread crumbs in a flat plate.
Make cutlets of your desired shape.
Because the cutlets are very soft, roll the cutlets in bread crumbs first.
Heat oil in a frying pan.
Dip the bread crumbs coated cutlets in beaten eggs and fry for 3-4 minutes until golden.
Serve hot with ketchup.
