Recipe for Bangalore Fry Fish
Ingredients
- Pomfret sliced ½ kg
- Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
- Green chilies chopped 2 – 3
- Crushed red pepper 1 tbsp
- Turmeric 1 tsp
- Corn flour 2 tbsp
- Flour 2 tbsp
- Flour ½ cup
- Egg 1
- Lemon juice 2 tbsp
- Almond ground 50 gm
- Coriander leaves a little
- Mint leaves chopped a little
- Salt to taste
- Oil for fry
Cooking Directions
Marinate ½ kg fish slices with salt to taste, 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste and 2 tbsp lemon juice.
Now add 1 tbsp crushed red pepper, 1 tsp turmeric and 1 egg. Mix very well.
Then add 2 tbsp flour, 2 tbsp corn flour, 50 gm ground almond, a few coriander leaves, a few mint leaves and 2 – 3 chopped green chilies.
Lastly coat each fish slice with flour and fry till crisp.
Serve hot.
