Recipe for Saffron Halwa
Ingredients
- Rice flour 2 cups
- Sugar 2 cups
- Clarified butter 300 gram
- Green cardamoms 4
- Dried milk 1 cup
- Fresh cream 1 cup
- Almond (fried) 50 gram
- Screw pine 1 tbsp
- Saffron ½ tsp
Cooking Directions
Heat oil clarified butter in a wok; add rice flour and fry; remove from flame.
Add saffron, sugar, cardamoms, dried milk, cream and screw pine; mix well and put on dum.
Remove from flame when clarified butter separates.
Dish out halwa, garnish with almonds.
