Recipe for Hareera
Ingredients
- Milk ½ kg
- Almonds 150 gm
- Cloves 3-4
- Small cardamom 3-4
- Khoya 100 gm
- Sugar as required
- Clarified butter 2 tbsp
Cooking Directions
Soak 150g almonds, peel and grind to form a paste.\
Add 100g khoya and 150g almond paste to the milk.
Warm the milk and add sugar as required. Simmer and cook until the milk starts to thicken
In a pan heat 2 tbsp ghee and fry 3-4 cardamoms along with 3-4 cloves.
Transfer the hareera into a serving bowl, pour the temper , garnish with chopped almonds and serve.
