Recipe for Chicken Behari Boti
Ingredients
- Chicken boneless 1/2 kg(cut into small cubes)
- Ginger 1 teaspoon
- Garlic 1 teaspoon
- Salt 1/2 teaspoon
- Red chilli powder 1 teaspoon
- Papaya or Papita 2 tablespoon
- Onion 1 (fried to golden brown)
- Chat masala 1 teaspoon
- Dahi 1/2 pao
- Charcoal or koila for dum
Cooking Directions
Mix all the ingredients and leave it for an hour to marinade.
Then in a pot add little bit of water in the chicken and cook it until meat is tender.
Then add 3 table spoon of oil and cook for 5 more minutes or until the chicken leaves oil.
Put the charcoal over medium flame, wait until the coal is fully red and is covered by white ash.
Meanwhile place the chicken in a metal pan. Make a well in the center.
Put a small piece of aluminum foil in it. Place the burned coal over it and put 2-3 drops of oil on it.
Cover it at once with a tight fitting lid and put aside for 5 minutes.
Garnish with fresh onion slices and serve hot with raita and tandoori naan.
