• Fish ½ kg boneless 2 inch cubes
• Salt ½ tsp
• Black pepper ½ tsp
• Mustard paste ½ tsp
• Lemon juice 2 tbsp
• Egg 1
• Milk 2 tbsp
• Ingredients for batter
• Self raising flour 4 tbsp
• Corn flour 2 tbsp
• Baking powder ¼ tsp
• Salt and white pepper ¼ tsp each
• Chilled water to make batter as required
• Bread crumbs 1 cup

Marinate fish cubes with salt, pepper, mustard and lemon juice, dip in egg and milk mixture then in prepared batter, roll in crumbs and deep fry. Serve with tartar sauce.
