Recipe for Pav bhaji
Ingredients
- Roughly chopped vegetables-1/2cup each
- (pumpkin,carrots,eggplant,peas,luffa
- capsicum,potato
- cauliflower,cucumber,beans)
- chopped tomatoes-2cup
- chopped onions-1 1/2cup
- garlic paste-1tsp
- green chilly paste-2 tsp
- chopped coriander-1cup
- butter-1/2cup
- oil-2tsp
- pav bhaji masala – 4 tbsp
- red chilly powder-2tsp
- salt to taste
Cooking Directions
Boil vegetables in one glass water with a pinch of salt and mash firmly with ladle to make a coarse paste.
Heat butter in a pan with oil(prevents burning of butter) and add chopped onions,sauté for 2 minutes and then add ginger,green chilly paste.
To this add red chilly powder ,salt and chopped tomatoes ,cook until oil comes out.
Add pav bhaji masala and paste of vegetables ,cook for 15 minutes.
Garnish with coriander and butter. Serve with pav bread.
