Recipe for Tikka Paneer Curry
Ingredients
- 5 green cardamom
- 1 onion paste
- 6 tbsps oil
- 1 cinnamon
- 1 tbsp garlic paste
- 1/2 tbsp coriander powder
- 1/2 cup tomato puree
- 1 tsp ginger paste
- 1/2 tbsp cumin powder
- 1/2 tbsp garam masala
- 1 tsp red chilli powder
- to taste Salt
- 6 tbsps cream
- 4 tbsps butter
- 300 grams cottage cheese
- 10 cashew nuts (paste with some water)
Cooking Directions
Boil cottage cheese in water on low flame for 15 minutes.
Heat oil and 1 tbsp of butter until melt, add cardamom and cinnamon stick ,add onions after 10 sec.
Cook until excess water has dried and onions are in golden color.
Add ginger and garlic paste and saute’for a minute. Add tomato puree, powdered spices and salt. Cook for 20 minutes
Turn heat up and cook for further 5 minutes. Add cottage cheese, butter and cream and 2 cups of water. Bring to a boil and simmer for another 5 minutes.
Garnish with cream Serve hot
