Recipe for Lamb Meatballs

Ingredients

  • 1 kilo lamb mince
  • 3 tbsps chopped coriander
  • 2 tbsps ginger-garlic paste
  • 2 tbsps chopped green chillies
  • 2 chopped onion
  • 1 cup yogurt
  • 6 tbsps oil
  • 2 tbsps ginger-garlic paste
  • tbsp fried cashew nut paste
  • 4 tbsps brown onion paste
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp chilli powder
  • to taste Salt
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala powder
  • 5 tbsps coriander leaves

Cooking Directions

For Meatballs:
In a bowl mix first five ingredients .

Divide the mixture into medium size balls to make koftas and keep aside.

For Gravy:
Heat oil in a large saucepan and add ginger garlic paste. Saute for a minute and add yogurt. Keep stirring on low heat for 8 mins.

Add brown onion and cashew nut pastes, chilli, coriander and turmeric powders. Mix well and add little water and salt.

Add meatballs in the gravy Cover and cook till cooked through. Serve hot with hot naan
