Recipe for Achari Keema

Ingredients

  • 500 gm lamb mince
  • 2 medium onions
  • 1 tomatoes
  • 1 tbsp achar masala
  • 1 tsp ginger paste
  • 1 tsp garlic paste
  • 1 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 cup green peas
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • salt to taste
  • For Garnishing:
  • 4 tbsp fresh coriander leaves
  • 2 green chilies, finely chopped

Cooking Directions

Cut onions into thin sliced.
Heat oil in a pan,add onions and fry for few minutes(do not turn brown).

Then add keema to it, let it cook, till becomes tender and a little brownish in colour.

Now add the sliced tomato and stir fry, also add the green peas if you want.

Now add, salt, black pepper, garlic-ginger paste.
Toss a bit and add ketchup, stir fry and add achar.

Now leave it for dum for about 5-7 minutes or when the mixture leaves oil.

Now transfer into a serving dish.
Achari keema is ready to serve.

Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and green chilies.
Serve hot with naan or boiled rice.
