Recipe for Zafrani Koftay
Ingredients
- Mince meat without fat half kg
- Yoghurt 125 grams
- Ginger 25 grams
- Roasted grams 25 grams
- Green coriander as required
- Seasoning 1 small spoon
- Onion 250 grams
- Ghee 250 grams
- Gralic 8 nos
- Poppy seed 25 grams
- Green chili as required
- Saffaron ¼ small spoon
- Fragrant water(rose water) 4 large spoon
Cooking Directions
Boil the half minced meat and finely chop the half minced meat.
Add salt, pepper, seasoning, grams and poppy seed(crush them finely) in it.
Chop green coriander, ginger, mint, green chili and add them all.
Now take the chopped minced meat and prepare flat or rounded balls of it and redden them into ghee.
Like irani koofta prepare its curry.
Add saffaron(crushed) after mixing into fragrant water(rose water).
Besides add kooftay into boiler for few minutes and cover them.
After 15 minutes remove them. Saffaron koofta are ready now.
