Recipe for Sponge Cake
Ingredients
- Castor sugar 75g
- Eggs 3
- Plain flour 75g
- Vanilla essence 1/4 teaspoon
- Stawberry jam 1 tablespoon
- Decoration:
- Icing sugar 1 tablespoon
Cooking Directions
Line and grease two sandwich tins
Preheat oven 190c
Whisk the sugar and eggs untill thick and fluffy
Fold in half of the flour untill it throughly mixed, then fold-in the other half of the flour.
Divide the mixture and half-fill the two prepared tins
Spread the jam on one of the sponge cake and place the other top.
Decorate with sifted icing sugar.
