Recipe for Pakistani Scrambled Egg
Ingredients
- 4 eggs, lightly beaten
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 1 tomato, finely chopped
- 4 green chilies, finely chopped
- 4 tbsp fresh coriander leaves, finely chopped
- 1/2 tsp red chili powder
- 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
- Salt as per taste
- 4 tbsp oil or butter
Cooking Directions
In a medium bowl, whisk eggs with salt. Heat oil in a pan , add mustard seeds and fry for 30 seconds.
Then add onion and stir fry for 2 minutes or until soft.
Now add red chili powder, green chili, coriander leaves, tomato and little water.
Cook for 5 minutes or until all water absorbed.
Now pour whisked eggs over it; gently scramble and cook for 2 minutes. Remove from the heat and Dish it out.
