Recipe for Steamed Beef
Ingredients
- Beef 1 kg
- Yoghurt 1/2 kg
- Garlic 1 teaspoon and 2 whole
- Ginger 1 teaspoon
- Green chillis 2 whole
- Lemon juice of 1 lemon
- Red chilli powder 2 teaspoons
- Turmeric 1/2 teaspoons
- Salt to taste
- Oil 3 tablespoons
- Onion 1 cut into 2 pieces
- Tomato 1 cut into 4 pieces
- A pinch of garam masala, corriander powder and zeera powder.
Cooking Directions
Put all things into a pot mix well and let it marinate for 2 hours.
After 2 hours place the pot on a slow flame and let it cook for 1 hour.
When the gravy has thickened and the beef has cooked take it off the heat and let it rest for 5 minutes.
You can thicken the gravy or loosen it as much as u require.
Garnish with fresh green corriander.
Serve it with rice or naan or u
can eat it just as it is.
