Recipe for Methi rice
Ingredients
- 1 ½ cup LONG Grain Basmati Rice
- 50 grams paneer (cut into small cubes and deep fried)
- Methi a small bunch (fenugreek)
- Leaves (chopped)
- 4-5 flakes of galic (paste)
- 2-3 green chilies (chopped)
- ¼ teaspoon, turmeric powder
- Red Chili powder as per taste
- Salt as taste
- 1 table spoon oil/butter
Cooking Directions
Wash Methi properly and drain the water.
Heat oil in the pan and mix garli paste and fry till light-brown.
Add tomatoes. Peas, methi, green chillies, salt, chili powder and Turmeric powder. Stir fry for eight to ten (8-10) minutes.
Add rice and fry well for another 5 minutes.
Garnish with fried paneer. Sarve the methi(fenugreek) pulao hot with chilied riata.
