Recipe for Bombay Mutton Curry
Ingredients
- Mutton (boiled) 1/2 kg
- Salt 1 tsp
- Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
- Coriander powder 1 tbsp
- Red chilli powder 1 tbsp
- Turmeric 1/2 tsp
- Rice flour 1 tbsp
- Tamarind paste 1/2 tsp
- Sesame seeds 1 tbsp
- Peanuts 1 tbsp
- Coconut flakes 2 tbsp
- Onion (thin sliced) 1
- Oil 1/2 cup
- Curry leaves 2-3
- Mustard seed 3/4 tsp
Cooking Directions
Boil mutton with 3 cup water, turmeric, whole cumin and 1 sliced onion till 1 cup of soup remains.
Heat oil in a pan put curry leaves and mustard seed.
Add onion fry golden brown.
Now add all dry spices and cook well.
Roast sesame seed, peanuts and coconut flake grind them.
Add this ground spices and mutton in pan let it cook on slow flame.
Put rice flour and tamarind paste cook 3 minutes more.
Serve with boiled rice.
