Recipe for Achari Fish Tikkay
Ingredients
- Fish 1/2 kg
- Lemon 4
- Turmeric 1 tsp
- Roasted and ground cumin 1 tsp
- Crushed red chilies 1 tbsp
- Tikka masala 2 tbsp
- White vinegar 2 tbsp
- Oil as required
- Salt as required
Cooking Directions
Cut the fish into cubes and add 2 tbsp white vinegar.
Leave aside for 5 minutes and wash.
Place the fish in a colander to drain the water.
For the marinade:
Mix together 1 tsp turmeric, salt as required, the juice of 4 lemons, 2 tbsp tikka masala, 1 tsp roasted and ground cumin and 1 tbsp crushed red chilies.
Coat the fish with the marinade and leave aside for 10 minutes.
Heat a grill pan and grease it slightly.
Grill the fish, turning when one side has slightly browned.
The delicious achari fish tikkae are ready to serve
