Recipe for Spicy Fish Stick
Ingredients
- Boneless fish 500g
- Egg white 2
- Corn flour 1 tbsp
- Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
- Red chili powder 1 tbsp
- Turmeric 1/2 tsp
- All spice powder 1/2tsp
- Nutmeg 1/3 tsp
- Fenugreek seed powder 1/3 tsp
- Lemon juice 2 tbsp
- Flour 2 tbsp
- Food color a pinch
- Oil for frying
- Salt as required
Cooking Directions
To prepare the marinade mix together 2 egg whites, 1 tbsp corn flour, 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste,1 tbsp red chili powder, 1/2 tsp turmeric,1/2 tsp all spice powder,2 tbsp flour, 2 tbsp lemon juice,1/3 tsp fenugreek seed powder, a pinch yellow food color and salt as required.
Cut the fish into even thin fingers and marinate with the prepared marinade for half an hour.
Heat oil in a wok and deep fry 4-5 fish fingers at a time until golden brown on each side.
Place on an absorbent paper to drain the oil and serve with your favorite sauce.
