Recipe for Beef Vegetable Masala
Ingredients
- Beef undercut ½ kg
- Peas boiled ½ cup
- Onion chopped 1
- Oil ¼ cup
- Cinnamon 2 sticks
- Potatoes chopped 2
- Salt to taste
- Water 1 cup
- Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
- Coriander powder 1 tbsp
- Cumin powder 1 tsp
- Turmeric 1 tsp
- Chili powder 1 tbsp
- Boiled tomatoes 3
- Green chilies 3 – 4
- All spice powder 1 tsp
- Coriander leaves 2 tbsp
- Nutmeg mace powder ½ tsp
Cooking Directions
Wash and cut beef undercut into small cubes.
Heat ½ cup oil in a pan, add 1 chopped onion and 2 cinnamon sticks. Fry till onion is tender.
Now add beef pieces and fry for 2 – 3 minutes.
Then add ½ cup potato cubes, salt to taste, 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste, 1 tbsp coriander powder, 1 tsp cumin powder, 1 tsp turmeric, 1 tbsp chili powder, 1 tsp all spice powder, ½ tsp nutmeg mace powder and 1 cup water.
Cover and cook on low flame for 5 – 6 minutes.
Remove lid, add chopped tomatoes, 3 – 4 chopped green chilies, ½ cup boiled peas and 2 tbsp coriander leaves.
Fry well on high flame till water dries.
Dish it out and serve hot.
