Recipe for Mutton Dum Pukht
Ingredients
- Mutton (1,1/2" cubed) 1 kg
- Yogurt (whipped) 400 gms
- Onions (sliced) 3 medium
- Ginger (ground) 1 tsp
- Garlic (ground) 1 tsp
- Turmeric 1/2 tsp
- Saffron (roasted and crushed) 1 tsp
- Butter or ghee 100 ml
- Salt to taste
Cooking Directions
Mix all ingredients with meat except ghee and marinate for 3-4 hours.
Heat oil in a pan, add the marinated mutton.
Cook on a low heat till meat is tender and the oil separates from meat.
Serve with naan or chappati.
