Recipe for Chicken Teriyaki
Ingredients
- 1/2 kg Chicken fillets cut in slices lengthwise
- Carrots 2 cut round
- Broccoli chopped 1 cup
- Onions sliced long 1/2 cup
- Ginger Garlic paste 1 tablespoon
- Soya sauce 1 tablespoon
- Honey 1 table spoon
- Black pepper to taste / 1/2 Teaspoon
- Salt to taste and very low.You can use no Salt for heart concerns.
- Olive Oil 1 tablespoon
- Non stick fry pan
Cooking Directions
Take the chicken thigh fillets cut into equal sized pieces of about 1/2 inch thickness and wash and keep them aside.
Mix honey and soya sauce in a fry pan and stir till blended.Keep aside.
Take the onions and place them in a fry pan with oil and glaze them. Keep aside.
Now stir fry the brocolli and carrots . tossing frequently till fried but crunchy.Keep aside.
Add little oil and add chicken pieces.Stir fry them on medium flame and when light golden and tender.
Add the onions, brocolli and carrots.
Add soya sauce and honey mix, brocolli. carrots and onions to the pan and stir fry them all so that the aroma blends together.
Lastly sprinkle bit of pepper and salt.
Serve hot with plain boiled rice.
