Recipe for Mughlai Qorma
Ingredients
- Beef (boneless) 1/2 kg
- Ginger/garlic paste 2 tbsp
- Onions (chopped) 2
- Yogurt (whipped) 250 grams
- Red chilli powder 2 tbsp
- Coriander powder 1 tsp
- Cumin powder 1/2 tsp
- Turmeric powder 1 tsp
- Whole hot spices 1 tbsp
- Almonds, pistachios, cashew nuts 1/2 cup altogether
- Salt to taste
- clarified butter 1 cup
- Oil 1 tsp
Cooking Directions
Boil almonds and pistachios; peel.
Heat oil in a frying pan; fry almonds, pistachios and cashew nuts; remove.
Heat clarified butter in a pot; fry onions brown; remove.
Grind onions and mix into yogurt.
Lightly fry whole hot spices in the same pot; fry; add ginger/garlic; fry for few minutes.
Add beef; cook on high flame till dry.
Add all ingredients expect dry fruits; cook till beef is tender.
When clarified butter separates, add dry fruits; dish out.
