Recipe for Batair Yukni
Ingredients
- Quail 4-5
- Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
- Onion 1
- Red chili paste 1 tbsp
- Turmeric paste 2-3 tbsp
- Yogurt ½ cup
- All spices ½ cup
- All spice powder 1 tsp
- Oil 2-3 tbsp
- Salt to taste
Cooking Directions
Clean the quails and coat with yogurt.
Heat 2-3tbsp of oil in a medium sized pan. Sauté the whole all spice for a few minutes.
Add 1 chopped onion and fry until pink. Then add 1 tbsp of ginger garlic paste.
Add the quails and fry for a few minutes. Stir in salt, turmeric paste yoghurt and red chili paste.
Add water and cook until the quails and tender.
Sprinkle all spice powder on top and serve
