Recipe for Sabzi ke Pakore

Ingredients

  • Chickpea flour – 1 1/2 cup
  • Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
  • Crushed red chili – 1 tsp
  • Salt – 1 tsp or to taste
  • Garlic paste – 1 tsp
  • Crushed black pepper – 1 tsp
  • Dry coriander – 1 tsp
  • Baking powder – 1 tsp
  • Green chili – 3 chopped
  • Fresh coriander – 3 tbsp
  • Curry leaves – 10
  • Potato: 1 (shredded)
  • Spinach – 1 cup chopped
  • Oil – for deep frying
  • Big size of Onion – 1 cut into slices

Cooking Directions

Take a bowl, add the chickpea flour, cumin seeds, crushed chili, salt, garlic, black pepper, dry coriander, baking powder, green chili, fresh coriander, curry leaves, onion, potato and spinach, mix well.

Heat up oil for deep frying in wok and deep fry chickpea flour coated vegetables until crispy and light golden brown.
Serve with tamarind or mint sauce.
