Recipe for Cheese Stuffed Mushroom

Ingredients

  • 15-20 fresh mushrooms
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 230 gms softened cream cheese
  • '' cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp black pepper powder
  • 1/1 tsp cayenne powder
  • '' tsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

Cooking Directions

Wash and clean the mushrooms. Now finely chop the stems. Remove the hard stems from the mushrooms.

Preheat oven to 350 F and grease a baking sheet.

Heat oil in a pan. Now fry the minced garlic and chopped stems of mushrooms. Cook till moisture disappears from the mushrooms.

Cook on low flame to avoid garlic from burning. When the mushroom stems look dry, take the pan off flame and let it cool.

After the cooked garlic and mushroom stems cools, add Parmesan cheese, softened cream cheese, black pepper powder, cayenne powder and onion powder. Make a thick stuffing mix.

Take the mushroom caps and with the help of a spoon, fill the stuffing mix.

Now place the stuffed cheese mushrooms on the greased baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes till you see melted cheese covering the mushroom caps.

Cheese stuffed mushrooms, the party appetizers recipe is ready to eat! Serve it hot.
