Recipe for Gulab Jamun
Ingredients
- Khoya ½ kg
- Egg 1
- Silver paper 2
- Chopped almonds 50 gm
- Baking powder ½ kg
- Cardamom ½ tsp
- Flour 2 tbsp
- Oil2 tbsp
- Oil to fry
- For Sugar Syrup:
- Cardamom 2
- Sugar 2 cups
- Water 2 cups
Cooking Directions
Take ½ kg khoya, 2 tbsp flour,2 tbsp oil, ½ tsp baking powder and ½ tsp cardamom powder.
Mix it with hand.
Make small balls out of the mixture and fry them hot oil.
Take 2 cups of water and 2 cups sugar along with 2 cardamoms. Cook it. And till the sugar syrup thickens then close the pan.
Pour the sugar syrup in the bowl and add in the fried gulab jamun.
Garnish it with 50 gm chopped almonds and silver paper. Serve.
